Well, the 27th of February was my 27th birthday! Yipee....another year closer to 30 :( Has to happen eventually I guess! I worked on my ACTUAL birthday but had Fri, Sat, and Sun off to celebrate! Friday evening we went over to David's parents for dinner and celebration (where the next 2 pics are from). Opened WONDERFUL presents, ate ice cream cake, and played Sequence. The boys won 5 of 6 games :(
And to think it was MY birthday!! Haha! We had a really nice time....as always!
Luke finally decided it was time to walk. The days surrounding my birthday he was really getting into it. Having practice sessions at home. Falling down and getting right back up again to keep going. He's still crawling as well, but he's capable of making it the entire length of the kitchen now on 2's instead of 4's :) It's so cute to watch someone so little bobbling around. He never once has cried or gotten discouraged when he's fallen. He cries and gets discouraged by everything else, but not that :)
Luke has been healthy, but just yesterday, David was diagnosed with SHINGLES!! He has them on the left side of his face/head. He's pretty much down for the count. Everything is painful and his eye is swollen. Poor guy is on viral meds and Vicodin for pain. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery and lessened pain! Praise the Lord I decided to get Luke vaccinated with the chicken pox vaccine!! Hopefully that will keep him protected! Other than that, we're just hanging out and keepin our fingers crossed that the weather episode this past weekend (which I had to work), is the finale to our winter (yeah right!) Still a ton of snow sitting in our driveway and walkway. Thank God for 4 wheel drive!
Birthday girl :)
The cake my hubby surprised me with!
Can you see me?
Showing me what's in his mouth while eating his PB sandwich. (yes that is part of the sandwich below his left eye :)
So yummy mamma! Not the neatest eater!
A picture from Monday March 3, when it was mid 60's out. We went for a ride around the block for the first time in Luke's wagon. He loved it! Hard to believe a few days later brought a foot of snow!
The wind in my hair and the sun on my face!!
A short video of one of the practice sesions at home. Chasing Holly :)
