Luke Meets Some Important People!

Luke is doing well, he definitely enjoys taking his naps!! He's pretty scheduled as far as eating and then being ready to lay down. He usually functions in 2hour intervals or so. I've tried giving him a little rice cereal to see how he does with it. He seems kind of indifferent and then just gets mad when he realizes it's not his bottle! :) Anyhow, my dad's parents (grandma and grandpa Kandel) are finally home from Florida and came to see Luke the very next night after they arrived back. Great grandma couldn't wait to get her hands on him.

First time seeing Great Grandma Kandel!

First time meeting Great uncle Roger - all the way from Alaska

My mom's sisters JoAnne and Linda were here for a quick visit from Alaska and Kentucky. It had been quite some time (over 10 years I think) since I'd seem my aunt JoAnne. We had a nice time together one evening and Luke LOVED uncle Roger.
I attended a bridal shower for my friend Sarah. Another friend of mine (Katie), her mom got to meet Luke as well and he was chattin it up with her :) He was the only boy allowed at the party!!

Our clan from high school at the shower.

Luke was laying in his crib one morning and daddy came it to talk with him. He's all smiles!

I just love this look....so thoughtful and peaceful!

Down at the hunting camp with grandma Estes. Think the hat's a LITTLE bit big!

All smiles!

We believe Luke can officially roll over - at least from back to stomach. We still TRY to use his positioner in the crib to lay him on his sides etc, and many a times have found him at one end or the other turned sideways and face down or whatever. Grandma Estes has seen him roll too at her house. He's working on it here too.

The moment right before the tears!

He's been puckering up his mouth quite a bit lately and swirling his tongue around in there. Thought this was a cute picture! :)

Stay tuned for updates..........
