Well, I SHOULD be excited as our cruise is coming up quickly, but I find myself more stressed/worried/and saddened. I am stressed that I feel there are many things to do before we leave regarding the animals, stopping mail, medication prescriptions, packing, and of course making sure Luke is packed as well (in between my crazy work schedule). I am worried that I am going to run out of time to do everything or forget to pack necesseties, and I am saddened at the prospect of leaving my sweet little boy behind for 10 days. We went "away" last year in September for 2 days and left Cedar Point early because we wanted to get home to see Luke. I truly have no idea how my heart will handle the extended period that is forthcoming. I almost broke down crying at work the other day when someone mentioned the cruise. I know it's just a "mother thing" and that we'll be well rested and better prepared to come back to our lives with Luke, but it scares the crap out of me that I will not see him in person for 10 days. David and I plan to make him a video or two, maybe one for in the morning and one at bedtime so that he can see and hear our voices each day. Plus he will be in the familiar comfort of the grandma's and also have the dogs with him. I just hope he copes well and doesn't become out of sorts after a few days. We are beyond blessed to have our parents take on babysitting responsibility and dogsitting for all this time. Otherwise I am truly excited and have been using the tanning bed to get bronzed up. I have my lists written down (that I started over 2 months ago) of what I need to buy, what I need to do, and what I need to pack. I refer to it frequently.
Evening at the Park
Luke is obsessed with ducks....there are some in the "pond" behind Grandma Kandel's house and that's the first thing he wants to do when he goes over. So needless to say, when we went to Price Park one evening a few weeks ago, he was in "DUCK HEAVEN!!"

Running to see the next group of ducks. Grandma and Grandpa in tow.

Watching another boy catch a pretty decent sized fish

Getting ready to scare the crap out of these geese!

Carrying around the loaf of bread. So many ducks but so many people too. The ducks weren't even hungry when we tried to feed them :( I don't think Luke cared too much though!

Pointing out some ducks under the fountain!

4 wheeling.....kind of
Daddy let Luke sit on his 4 wheeler and even turned it on to let hm rev the engine!!

Quite a happy little boy!

Saying "Cheese" for mommy :)

Hey ladies....I'm one cool dude! Wanna ride?

First Official Bubble Bath!

Luke got his first big boy bubble bath with daddy the other night. Wasn't quite sure what to think!

I don't think it's "No More Tears" like Johnson and Johnson!!
