Birthday Celebration!!!

Tuesday the 27th was my 26th birthday :) We went over to David's parents house for a wonderful yummy dinner, cake, presents, and some card playing. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pics of the evening (except the one below). I forgot to include this one in the last posting. This was at his 1 month Dr. appointment.

1 Month Old!!!

Well, Luke had his 1 month Dr appointment on Wednesday and decided he was going to be a good boy at the Dr's this time! He figured now that he is a month old, he will behave himself! He didn't cry at all until he got his second Hepatitis B shot in the leg...then he didn't like me too much anymore :) He was 9 lbs on the dot (probably a couple of ounces less because it had been two days since he pooped, which we ended up paying for the next morning :) He measured 22 inches long. The Dr. said he is in the 62nd percentile for length, 33rd for weight, and get this.....15th for head size! HAHA! He's got a little noggin! Takes after his daddy :) Overall though, everything looks great, praise the Lord! I'm sure I'll have some more pictures shortly.

A Few Special Occassions!

First Night in my Crib

After 3 weeks in the Pack N Play, we finally thought it was time to move the little guy to his own bed! As you can see, my legs are no longer in their proper spots. I LOVE to kick them out!

Last week I hung out with my friend Rachel and we were at her house once again watching a movie. This time there was no water breaking or labor. Luke returned to the scene of the beginning of his arrival!

Friday we visited with my great grandparents who are 90 and 91 I believe. This is their first great great grandchild!

Saturday we upgraded from the sink to Luke's own bathtub. He actually rather enjoyed it. He loved having the warm water poured over him

Happy Valentine's Day :)

Valentine's Day itself was pretty uneventful for us, especially since it was a Wednesday, but David and I had a chance the previous weekend to go out just the two of us. My parents watched Luke last Friday night and David and I went to Applebee's for dinner after we saw Deja Vu. By the way, we recommend the movie :) Very good! And then Saturday night we stopped by his parents house for just a little bit and his mom kept an eye on Luke while we used their hot tub! So we had kind of an early Valentine celebration. David still gave me a card and a Starbuck's gift card on the "big day". I didn't expect too much cause he had gotten me a beautiful bouquet of flowers when Luke was born and a locket with Luke and I's pictures in it. So anyhow, before Luke was even born, I couldn't resist buying this little Valentine onesie. As you can see below, he was quite thrilled to be wearing it :)
